Meet Angela (they/she)

Hi, I’m Angela (they/she), the founder of Tacocat Wellness.
I started this practice in 2021 with one goal: to make nervous system support and emotional wellness more accessible, inclusive, and real, especially for folks who are often left out of mainstream wellness spaces.

As a queer, neurodivergent Filipinx person living in Washington State, I know firsthand what it feels like to navigate a world that isn’t built with you in mind. That’s why Tacocat Wellness is rooted in trauma-informed care, abolitionist values, and conscious rebellion against hustle culture.

This work is for the burnout brains, the masked-up over-thinkers, the chronically ill creatives, the quietly curious, and the deeply tired humans who want to feel like they’re not alone; you’re not.

Through 1:1 somatic coaching, support groups, and now digital downloads and emotional support merch, I offer tools that help you reconnect with your body in practical and accessible ways.

In 2024, after hearing from dozens of coaching clients who wanted more between sessions, I began creating downloadable resources and wearables. What started as a way to support folks with burnout and masking became something bigger: stickers that say what words can’t, sweaters that feel like a hug, and tools that help you hold your own hand.

Tacocat Wellness invites you to slow down, learn to name, and meet your needs.‍ ‍

Relax your jaw and take our paw. I’m so glad you’re here.

A little bit about me…

I’m a Filipino, queer, autistic human living in the Pacific Northwest with my spouse and two cats, Fitzgerald and Louise.

I grew up in Southern California as the oldest in a blended family (it’s ME!!! I’m the eldest emotional support daughter). I’ve survived interpersonal violence, poverty, and inequity in the legal and social services systems. These experiences have informed how I approach my work (and life in general).

I moved to the Pacific Northwest in the Summer of 2017 and love living in the woods. I enjoy vegan cooking, spending time outdoors, listening to records, and drawing in my leisure time.

Like so many of us, I’m just out here trying my best to operate my meat suit.
